photography
Started Young — My grandpa always had his camera around since the earliest days that I can remember! When I was just a few years old I remember running around my grandpa’s front lawn playing sports (baseball, basketball, soccer and just about anything else a kid could do) and the whole time my grandpa was there to capture it all on his small point and shoot camera!
My Dad — Carried on the tradition of having a camera around although nothing near the amount that my grandpa did. Enough to make me appreciate the camera myself and share an interest in creating moments into memories that can be looked back on for a lifetime!
Found the passion within myself — I remember standing in best buy with $500 cash in my hand from my summer house painting job my years in high school. I was looking over the camera that would be my first official DSLR that was to be my own. The knowledge with the camera went from only understanding photography but quickly transitioning into learning anything and everything I could about videography! I am stoked to be a videographer professionally today! It truly inspires me each and every morning I wake up.
videography
After using my first camera and learning more about photography, I discovered video when Youtube and “Vlogging” was the new and cool thing to do. I began making small music style videos that I dreamed of one day traveling the world while crafting these types of films. I got my first GoPro for my 17th birthday and was beyond stoked for the opportunity to have two dynamic cameras to create my short videos with. Since video has taken over my passion with the camera. I am always so stoked to sit down in front of a blank sequence and throw some clips and smash the play button. Often times I am found in front of the computer screaming and shouting in excitement at the 10 second clip I just crafted!
basketball
Basketball similar to the camera has been something that I discovered at a very young age and became extremely passionate for. I invested a lot of sweat and tears on many weeknights, weekends, and summer breaks on becoming the best leader I could possibly become for my team. My story progressed well with many opportunity but ended quicker then expected due to a severe health issue surrounding my anxiety I held within since my younger years of my life. I was unable to play my senior year of high school and officially ended my academic playing career. Since then there has not been a day that has passed that I do not think about if I had a chance to play in one more game. With this it taught me to always give my actions and experiences every ounce of energy that I have because it could all be taken away from you in the snap of a finger.
